It's that time of the year again, the suns shining and it's time for your skin to come out and play. After all, it's been hiding behind those cute sweaters and legging combos for months. Now that the summer is upon us, here are five fun tips on how to keep your skin
moisturized and sun ready, all summer long.
1) Shaving can be such a hassle but what's worse are those nasty in grown hairs. They creep up in the most inopportune times and can be achy and unpleasing to the eye. A great way to make sure those gross bumps don't show up, is to exfoliate with a loofah before shaving. This helps to get rid of all the dead skins cells so the hairs don't have a chance to grow back the wrong way. Just put your regular skin care body wash on a loofah and lather in a circular motion. Now you're ready to shave. It's that simple. And for maximum moister,
switch out your shaving cream for conditioner. It works as a great way to moisturizer your legs and to protect against harsh razors. And let's never forget, much cheaper. Holla!
2) Speaking of cheap, skin care products can be pricey but the cheapest way to clear your skin of those nasty pimples is to use products you can find around your house and a local Pharmacy. Just stir in a mixing bowl, Activated charcoal, Turmeric powder, Apple Cider
vinegar and Aztec Clay. Portion it out to a paste like texture. Put directly on to your face and leave on until it dries completely. Use a cool damp cloth to clean off. Any excess can be stored in a plastic container in the refrigerator. Congratulations, you've just made yourself an inexpensive skincare product.
3) SPF is your best friend! Just apply a little sunscreen in your morning skin care routine, it helps so you don't forget. Add a pea sized portion to your face before adding your liquid foundation. Boom! Now you're covered.
4) Coconut oil is all the rave and for good reason. Apply to skin before bed and right before hitting the sun. You'll be glowing!
5) Last but certainly not least, before heading out the door, grab yourself a big dose of confidence. This always comes in handy no matter what the situation and it's the cheapest of all skincare product. Strut outside like you own the joint, you fierce moisturized lady you.
