My passions include playing strong female leads, talking about race and watching trashy British television. Where did my journey of race and sexuality intersect you might ask, well I grew up in a small conservative town of State College, Pennsyl-tuky. I always felt like I stuck out and once I embraced the fact that I was in fact "that awkward black girl” I found freedom in just being corky me. It did take a lot to get here but here I am, more awkward than ever so follow me on my journey of self-discovery, wine induced blogging and navigating Los Angeles.
